After getting hired by Lyquix in 2013 to handle WordPress duties for Comcast Local Media Development I was hired directly by Comcast to continue development on their WordPress MultiSite project in mid 2014. The series of plugins and themes developed for their project Open Voice Platform provided a hyper local blogging and video on demand platform.
It was built using WordPress MultiSite and a series of plugins, themes, and child themes to easily launch city specific websites which allowed it’s audience to publish local videos and blog posts specific to their communities. The plugin included various settings features, user roles, video uploads, public facing contribution forms, content aggregation, and more.
The contract ended in late 2016 and the project went in a new direction.
